I had Yamaha on Friday. For Senior band I played the second note of solo wrong and everything thought I was going to completely screw it up after that. But I didn't. I just ran out of breath a beat early at the end. Afterwards everyone was like "nice recovery." Why thank you everyone who had a pessimisstic outlook for the majority of my solo. And also, people aren't noticing enough that ANTONY PLAYED HIS SOLO PERFECTLY. Why doesn't everyone congratulate him on that? But no, everyone would much rather say "nice recovery Sandra." In the end we got Silver, which for us is a complete screw up because we were expecting gold since about the beginning of the term. For Concert band we somehow managed to get Gold. I think it's because of our weird song choices. We had to bring on glasses of water for Symphony and everyone kept looking at us funny and thinking it was vodka or something. Yeah, we're really going to get drunk in the middle of our performance. They were to make those weird noses, by the way. You know, when you move your finger around the edge of the glass. I have so many band things on at the moment. Today I had Pulse (which was boring as per normal), Thursday and Friday are Music Nites and Monday's the Pulse concert /annnd/ we're performing for the Chinese visitors before we got to Pulse. But Band's fun (except for Pulse). I'm such a band nerd. --- I WANNA ROCK WITH YOU DANCE WITH YOU DO EVERYTHING WITH YOU RUN AROUND IN THE RAIN WITH YOU --- Big Bang is teh sex. I missed out on hearing Lies during Streetball today because of stupid Pulse :K (Even though I wouldn't have even gone to Streetball anyway). Oh yeah, and I need a life (which I've mentioned before on this blog).
